With a little help from my friends (at UHS Hints) I made it off the top floor today. Yes, I cheated, but so far I found the puzzles awkward, with too much emphasis on pixel hunting further complicated by shoddy hit box detection and occasionally timing that's just too strict for a straight adventure. Generally I think the game doesn't make short-term goals clear enough, so many solutions seems rather arbitrary. In short, I already decided I don't care too much about the game (by Revolution Software, makers of the okay Broken Sword series) and I just want to see more of the art (by Dave Gibbons of freshly renewed Watchmen fame). Foster's voice actor deserves special mention, too - he's fantastic, even without considering this is a computer game from 1994. As far as the story is concerned, I'm still undecided - it might turn out good, but it just as well might turn out to be just another humdrum dystopia about evil corporations and police states and whatnot.
